● Attend IEP meetings with parents or on behalf of the parent
● Attend parent and teacher conferences with parents or on parent behalf
● Set up a parent meeting
● Collect data on the students ( ie report cards, progress reports, and progress toward
annual goals)
● Make contact with teachers
● Contact parent at least twice per quarter
● Connect parents with outside tutoring resources
● Offer support and coping strategies to parent/student
● Attend court if needed
● Conduct school site visits for student
● Help both parent and student transition
● Conduct parent coaching ( once per quarter)
